Outbound Learning

17/11

It all happened this saturday when i woke myself up forcefully @ around 4:45am to attend the outbound learning programme organized by the company.

Reached office at 6 to take on the day. The bus we travelled reached the destination at 8:25. After a good breakfast i left to check out the place. As i sat on the swing to chill, met a proud parent who told us about himself & what had bought him to this place. Bid him bye and went on to catch up with the others.

Business Centre: Here we were introduced to our energized & enthusiastic mentors.

Then we took the bus to the site where the activities were planned. Amazing locales on the way, military camps, and huge rocky mountains.
There were three activities lined up for the day. Started off with the team building activity, followed by rappelling which gave me a sense of achievement & i was thrilled to climb down the rocky mountain. After this breath taking exercise, went on with the other team activity. These activities tested one's attitude, confidence, concentration, technical & leadership skills, ....

The mentors guiding us through all these activities & debriefing after each activity on our strenghts & weaknesses. It was totally an adventurous day.

Then got back to the resort had lunch & chilled at the pool. We all then gathered for the debriefing session, talked about the day's ventures. And last but nevertheless least the session which helped us all to really relax after the day's activities was this little exercise about paying gratitude, which one of the mentor so fondly spoke off. Where we were asked to think of 1 person that had had a life changing impact on you. And it was time to thank that important person in your life, for their support & sacrifice.

This entire program helped me gain a sense of achievement & gratitude.
